This is not a lifejacket and will not prevent drowning and so should not be used as one. The design allows the wearer to develop a correct swimming technique.

These floats can then be removed as the swimmer becomes more confident in the water. When buoyancy is no longer required, the Jacket makes a stylish wet suit vest.
